Over the past three decades, Bob Golger has represented a wide variety of clients ranging from high profile criminal defendants to permanently disabled personal injury plaintiffs.  He has been recognized in Connecticut Magazine as being a Super Lawyer who is preeminent in his field.  Bob has extensive trial court experience with over 70 reported decisions and over 50 published Appellate Court decisions to his credit.  He practices in all courts, both State and Federal.

Bob’s criminal practice requires him to appear regularly in both State and Federal Court.  He has represented a varied group of individuals, ranging from so-called White-Collar criminals, to first-time offenders.  He has handled numerous felony cases, including murder, terrorism, larceny, tax fraud, drug charges, gun charges and DWI offenses.  He has been a member of the United States District Court’s Criminal Justice Act Panel for over 25 years.  Bob is well known in legal circles throughout Connecticut.

Bob also has a well-established reputation as a Personal Injury attorney representing individuals in all aspects of litigation.  He has a track record of vigorous representation for his clients which has yielded significant recoveries through both settlement and jury verdict.

Bob grew up in Fairfield and is a long-time resident of the Town of Trumbull, where he’s been an active participant in the town and town government.  Bob graduated from Suffolk University Law School and received his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University. Bob started off his legal career at Owens, Schine, Nicola & Donahue, before teaming up with Ray Rizio in 1999.
