Attorney Macol’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate development, including sales transactions, leasing and lending.  She represents developers and first time buyers. Kathy also represents a diverse group of financial institutions and borrowers in a broad range of corporate and commercial financing and restructuring transactions, including senior and junior credit facilities, asset-based lines of credit, real estate financing, loan workouts, and the restructuring of existing loans.

Kathy regularly advises clients with respect to the structuring, negotiating, and closing of these transactions. Kathy prides herself in the diversity of the deals she handles, whether it be a large commercial sale with several leases involved or a more simple single tenant property transferring for the first time in many years.

Kathy also has extensive experience advising clients in all aspects of business transactions in the areas of formation, equipment lease financing, asset acquisitions and general corporate law.  She regularly works with both commercial and industrial businesses, including start-ups as well as established companies.

Kathy is a graduate of Connecticut College and Quinnipiac College School of Law.
